Visit and inspection of mustering centers by District Election Officer and Chief Commissioner
District Election Officer and Chief Commissioner Tushar Giri Nath visited various mustering centers today in the wake of general Lok Sabha elections.
All the polling officers come to the mustering stations under the jurisdiction of the 3 Lok Sabha Constituency Electoral Officers of the city and take all the polling equipment required for the polling stations including EVM, Ballot Unit, Control Unit, VV Pat through BMTC, KSRTC and other vehicles. They will go to the polling stations through police escort. He informed that all basic facilities including accommodation and water system have been provided in all the polling booths.
Voting will be held tomorrow on April 26 from 7.00 am to 6.00 pm, before that the polling will start at 5.30 am and will be completed by 7.00 pm. He said that all kinds of basic facilities have been arranged so that the voters do not face any problem in the polling booths.
